    Responsibilities
  • Ensure IBM and IBM customers were protected for security threats and vulnerabilities, such as hackers, virus, social engineering, logical and physical intrusion
  • Perform network security reviews in IBM's European Network Services departments
  • Ensure Nordic countries adhered to IBM security standards at all time
  • As system administrator ensure all systems were in compliance with IBM security standards
  • Development and maintenance of Systematic Attack Detection System
  • Automation of firewall, router & switch management

    Results
  • I was successful in changing Network Services department's attitude towards security in such a manner that in two years we went from having little or no knowledge of security to being able to pass a four week intensive IBM Corporate Audit
  • IBM Network Services department throughout Europe passed IBM Corporate Audits based on the training and help they received during security reviews
  • Assisted the Danish Police during Operation Cathedral, gathering evidence for the arrest of suspects involved in distributing child pornography
